Vincent "Don Vito" Margera died Sunday at the age of 59, TMZ reports.
Delaware County native Vincent Margera, best known for appearing on his nephew Bam Margera's television shows and movies, died Sunday from liver and kidney failure, TMZ reports.
He had been in a coma since last month, according to the website, and died about 6:45 a.m.
Known by his nickname "Don Vito," Margera gained notoriety for being the butt of several pranks and his often difficult to understand manner of speaking in the reality show "Viva la Bam," which aired for five seasons from 2003-2006 on MTV.
He also made an appearance in the second "Jackass" movie, which featured some of Bam Margera's friends who appeared in "Viva la Bam."
Johnny Knoxville, a frequent collaborator of Bam Margera's, tweeted his condolences Sunday after the news of his death was reported.

Vincent Margera ended up running into legal trouble after entering the limelight. Per the Rolling Stone:
Following the end of Viva La Bam in 2006, Margera faced legal issues stemming from an incident at a Colorado autograph session in August 2006 where he was charged with groping two 12-year-old girls. At trial in December 2007, Margera was ultimately found guilty of two counts of sexual assault on a minor and sentenced to 10 years of "serious" probation, which banned him from further portraying "Don Vito" in any capacity. He was also sentenced to register as a sex offender in Colorado and his native Pennsylvania. Since then, Margera remained largely out of the spotlight.
His death marks the second loss in the "Jackass" family in recent years. In 2011, Ryan Dunn died in an alcohol-related accident on Route 322 in West Goshen Township, Chester County. His friend Zachary Hartwell, a production assistant on Jackass Number Two who lived in West Chester, was a passenger. He also died in the crash.
