After Thursday's largely peaceful "Philly is Baltimore" rally in Center City, about 100 demonstrators have returned to Center City on Friday night.
According to SEPTA Police Chief Thomas J. Nestel, the marchers assembled around 7:00 p.m. at 12th and Filbert,
6ABC reports.
Nestel described Friday's protest as peaceful as the crowd moved through Arch Street and JFK Boulevard before reaching Broad and Walnut.
Yesterday's event, organized by the Philadelphia Coalition for REAL Justice, lasted more than 6 hours in a show of solidarity with Baltimore protesters.
On Friday, Baltimore's chief prosecutor Marilyn Mosby announced charges against six police officers in connection with the death of Freddie Gray.
