Delta Airlines will soon add another four non-stop flights from Philadelphia to Boston, giving air travelers plenty of options to choose from by the end of the year.
“Boston is a popular choice among both business and leisure travelers," PHL CEO Chellie Cameron said, "and the new service by Delta will make traveling between two great cities even more convenient."
“We are very pleased with this new service and look forward to more flights to more cities.”
Delta, the third largest airline at PHL in terms of passenger traffic, will add the service to Boston Logan International Airport beginning Oct. 1.
The four daily departures will use CRJ-900 aircraft.
American Airlines and JetBlue currently each operate daily non-stop flights between Philadelphia to Boston. Departure and arrival times for the upcoming Delta service have not yet been finalized.
