The on-duty Folcroft Borough police officer who was shot seven times on Friday morning have been identified by sources as 25-year-old Christopher Dorman, 6ABC reports.
His condition has been updated to stable, but critical after reportedly being shot four times in the vest, once in the face, once in the leg and once in the groin. He is being treated at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

According to 6ABC, police have arrested the gunman, identified as Dante Brooks Island.
Service has reportedly resumed for Amtrak train service in the area, including Northeast Regional and an Acela train service, though there is no update on whether delays remain in effect for SEPTA trains in the area.
The incident occurred at Primos and Elmwood streets in Folcroft at about 9:45 a.m. during what is reported to have been a drug bust.
