Commuters on SEPTA's Regional Rail lines continued experiencing delays and overcrowded trains Wednesday, according to officials.
Trains on several lines were reporting delays between 10-20 minutes around 6 a.m. while others were forced to skip stops due to overcrowding, according to SEPTA's Twitter account.
SEPTA General Manager Jeff Knueppel had warned that Wednesday's commute could be "worse" than Tuesday's.

That's likely due to more riders coming back from extended holiday weekends.
The headaches for commuters come because of 120 of SEPTA's Silverliner V trains being taken out of service because of the discovery of a structural defect.
The agency is working with Amtrak and the transportation departments of New Jersey and Maryland to try and secure additional equipment and vehicles while work continues to get the railcars back in service.
