Toronto Blue Jays' pitcher David Price is a five-time All-Star, has led the American League in strikeouts, wins, and ERA, and has a Cy Young Award under his belt.
You'd think it would take quite a bit for him to consider anything a life-changing experience. Which is all the more reason to recognize the lure of the Philly cheesesteak.
The Blue Jays are in town for a two-game series against the Phillies starting Tuesday night. Price isn't scheduled to pitch, giving him plenty of free time to indulge in the city's cuisine.
On Monday night, he sampled a cheesesteak from Steve's Prince of Steaks (it's not clear which location he got it from), and according to his Twitter account, his life will never be the same again.
Price liked it so much that on Tuesday he was imploring Philadelphians to assist him in finding another great steak sandwich.
Price isn't the only visiting player to gorge on Philly's most famous delicacy this season. In July, Milwaukee Brewers bullpen catcher Marcus Hanel set the record for cheesesteak consumption at Citizen's Bank Park by downing 23 of them.
