Over the past year or so, Philadelphia-based videographer Cory Popp has captured some of the most visually stunning and interesting slices of the city's social, natural and infrastructural life. The 19 videos that comprise Popp's "Uncover Philly" series are both dazzling in their camera work and inspiring in their subject matter — from Spruce Street Harbor Park to the streets of Fishtown — and now the filmmaker is onto something new.

On Tuesday, Popp launched a new series that will feature conversations with some of Philadelphia's best photographers as they strike out in search of epic city encounters. It's an adventure that will put Popp in touch with artists whose work is both very similar and radically different from his own.
"Philly has an incredible amount of talented photographers," Popp said in an email. "I want to go behind the scenes to see what makes them tick."
First up is Chris Robinson, a young photographer who loves "looking up" and focuses his craft primarily on cityscapes and local architecture.
