Vandals spray painted the word “All” over a ‘Black Lives Matter’ sign erected outside of a South Jersey on Wednesday.

“I think it might be helpful for people to understand there is a force that hates those words—Black Lives Matter,” - Rev. Cynthia Cain

The church, a proficiently white congregation that created the sign as an act of solidarity for the movement against racial police violence, said it will put the sign back up as it is, with the new white painted wording.

“I think it might be helpful for people to understand there is a force that hates those words—Black Lives Matter,” Rev. Cynthia Cain of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Jersey Shore in Galloway Township told The Press of Atlantic City reporter Donna Weaver.

A ceremony to unveil the sign was held last month.
