Christie says he'll no longer talk about Philly sports fans

N.J. Gov. once referred to Philly fans as "worst in America"

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie doesn't want to mess with Philadelphia sports fans, nj.com reported.

During a recent visit to London, Christie — a self-proclaimed Dallas Cowboys fan — said he won't be talking about Philly sports fans.

"I'm never talking about Philly fans again," Christie joked to Matt Arco of NJ Advance Media.

New York Times reporter Michael Barbaro quoted Christie speaking harshly about Philadelphia fans in December.

These Philadelphia fans, they are the worst in America," Mr. Christie was overheard saying when he attended a game between the Cowboys and Eagles last month.
