Chick-fil-A has responded to Sixers rookie Markelle Fultz's love of their sandwiches by assuring him they have more locations in Philadelphia than he originally thought.
The morning after the NBA draft, Fultz wrote a hype letter of sorts to Sixers fans in The Players' Tribune. One of the more interesting tidbits: When he found out he'd likely be going to Philly, the first thing he wanted to know is whether the city had Chick-fil-A locations. He was pleased to learn there were seven (including the airport), and the team actually catered his pre-draft training session with Chick-fil-A.
In a news release, Chick-fil-A pointed out something I actually noted at the time: There are eight, not seven, Philly locations. Per the release:
If getting the top spot in the draft and signing major endorsement deals isn’t enough to celebrate, we’ve got even more good news. Markelle Fultz, there are actually eight locations around Philadelphia:
Philadelphia International Airport

We’re excited to serve you in Philadelphia before the first time you suit up to play. And when the Sixers are on the road, click here to find your nearest location.
Fultz is happy about the revelation:
