This holiday season, Chestnut Hill will host Sugar Plum Saturday. On Dec. 10, all are invited to Germantown Avenue for a full day of family-friendly activities. To start off the festive daylong event, there will be a neighborhood parade.

The 2016 holiday parade will feature firetrucks, the Phillie Phanatic, marching bands, school choirs, Santa, antique cars and horses.

Bredenbeck's Bakery will host a gingerbread workshop at two different times during the festival. The fee to join in the holiday treat-making is $45 and includes the 6-inch gingerbread house and candy decorations. The bakery also offers the workshop on various other dates during the holiday season.
