Cherry Hill East High School is open Monday but with increased police presence after a juvenile allegedly made a threat to the school that circulated on social media over the weekend.
According to CBSPhilly, Superintendent Joseph Meloche sent out a letter saying the unidentified juvenile has been charged with one count of “making a false public alarm.” There was no word on whether the juvenile is a student at the school.
Cherry Hill police and school administrators were notified of the incident on Sunday after the threat began circulating on social media, CBSPhilly reports.
