Popular workwear apparel company Carhartt will open its first stand-alone retail location in New Jersey at the end of the month.
The new store will be coming to Cherry Hill on Jan. 31, the company announced. It will be located at 2020 Route 70 in the Towne Place at Garden State Park.
"Carhartt has found a home in one of America's most industrious, family-friendly, and prosperous communities," the company said in a statement. "Located mere minutes from historic Independence Hall, Carhartt Cherry Hill aspires to bring our own brand of 24/7 rugged reliability to this proud region."

The Michigan-based company, established in 1889, has just 29 brick-and-mortar locations in 17 states, including one in Pittsburgh. The Cherry Hill location is intended to serve the greater Philadelphia area.
While Carhartt apparel is available at select retailers already, the stand-alone shop will include everything from workwear to footwear, flannels, accessories and clothing for kids and pets.
The store is expected to hire between 15-20 associates to staff the new location.
