A local pub is celebrating Thursday's announcement that Philadelphia will host the 2016 Democratic National Convention with a special new drink.
Christopher Mullins, co-owner of McGillin’s Olde Ale House, told CBSPhilly that the concoction is “ginger beer and a shot of Jameson with a taste of lime in it.” He calls it a “Dublin Donkey.”
The Irish pub, located near 13th and Chestnut Streets, is planning more DNC-themed drinks and menu items as the convention approaches.
