Celebrate your unbirthday at the Mad Hatter Whiskey Tea Party

'Alice in Wonderland'-themed event will take place in a historic mansion

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?" Alice asks in Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." "That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," the Cheshire Cat replies.

On April 21, the place you want to get to is Rittenhouse's Stotesbury Mansion for Drink Philly's Mad Hatter Whiskey Tea Party.

The 21-plus event, inspired by "Alice in Wonderland," will feature plenty of cocktails that scream, "Drink me!"

Spirit Forward’s Dan Lan Hamm will create drinks with Maker's Mark, Knob Creek Rye, Sipsmith Gin and Courvoisier VS Cognac.

The event is also a costume party, so attendees should come dressed as their favorite "Alice in Wonderland" character or in an outfit inspired by the classic. A prize will be given to the best of the bunch.

While sipping drinks and listening to live jazz music, attendees are also invited to explore the historic mansion.

Tickets for the event are $50 per person and include all drinks. Space is limited.
