Philly offers plenty of food and drink specials for Mardi Gras. On Fat Tuesday, Feb. 28, the city will celebrate in New Orleans style. There will be Hurricanes, crawfish and even a drink made with Café du Monde ingredients.
Rittenhouse Square 1682’s executive chef Bobby Surdam will be cooking up a pot of New Orleans-inspired crawfish pepperpot soup, while Square 1682's lead bartender Daniel Kulisek will mix up Bluebird Rye Sazerac cocktails for $10 each. Hurricane cocktails will also be available on Mardi Gras.

The Southern-inspired restaurant and music venue in Headhouse Square will have the popular New Orleans craft beer Abita for sale.

Lead bartender Kyle Darrow will be making "Nola Fashioned" cocktails. The drink is made with rye whiskey, pecan simple syrup and Café du Monde bitters — made by Darrow with coffee and chicory grounds sourced directly from the famed NOLA spot.

South Street's Southern-inspired restaurant and bar will be offering a special Fat Tuesday Citywide Special in celebration of Mardi Gras.
The Mardi Gras Citywide features The King's Cake Burger (an 8-ounce beef patty topped with cheddar, bacon, lettuce and a house-made pickle on a traditional King's Cake roll), a pint of Newbold and shot of Jim Beam's Devil's Cut for $17.
Additionally, bartenders will be making Falernum Hurricanes. The cocktail is made with aged rum, white rum and falernum (a syrup flavored with almond, ginger, cloves, lime and vanilla).

This Manayunk restaurant is throwing a Mardi Gras party. Bourbon Blue is offering two-hour and three-hour open bar packages.
Included are drink specials, New Orleans-inspired dishes, a photo booth, beads and masks. The party starts at 7 p.m.
Those who don't want to purchase a package can still join in the festivities by paying a $10 cover, which includes one drink.
