The first of many?
Rookie quarterback Carson Wentz was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 3 after leading the Eagles to a 34-3 thrashing of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Against a team many consider a Super Bowl contender, Wentz completes 23 of 31 passing, threw two ftouchdowns (including this absolute beauty) and 301 yards along with no turnovers.
Wentz has yet to turn the ball over, is completing 64.7 percent of his passes and has five touchdown passes.

More impressive than his numbers, however, is how poised he is for a rookie. Wentz remains calm when pressured in the pocket and has quickly become a team leader -- while guiding the Eagles to an NFC East-best 3-0 mark.
Carson MF Wentz, baby.
