Carson Wentz and the Eagles receivers are prepping for camp in North Dakota

From a reporter’s standpoint, Jordan Matthews has easily been one of the best quotes in Philadelphia sports the past few years. And with many of the Eagles receivers working out with Carson Wentz at North Dakota State this week, J-Matt unleashed a gem on Alshon Jeffery’s Periscope.

“We out here in North Dakota man, ain’t no rap stations on the radio or nothing baby,” Matthews said. “Straight bison burgers, country music and red heads, shout out to Carson Wentz.”

Last year, many of the Eagles receivers trekked to California around this time to work out with Sam Bradford. But now with Wentz firmly entrenched as the Eagles starting QB, he gets to host the offseason workouts at his alma mater.

Shelton Gibson and Torrey Smith appear to be there as well:

There were reports on Twitter that Trey Burton and Zach Ertz are also in Fargo, which would make sense if true. Eagles training camp officially starts two weeks from now and the first full-team practice isn’t until July 27th, but Wentz and his receivers are using some time off to practice on the field and hang out off it.

That’s nothing but good news for Eagles fans.
