A North Philadelphia woman was fatally struck by a car Saturday morning after the driver of a sedan rammed over a curb outside the PNC Bank at Broad Street and Allegheny Avenue, officials said.
The crash occurred at around 4:30 a.m., according to investigators, who found the 50-year-old victim with a severed leg at the scene of the accident, NBC 10 reports. She later died of her injuries.
Both the driver of the car and a passenger were taken to Temple University Hospital. Their conditions were not released.
Neither the victim nor those in the striking vehicle have been identified.
