Holiday traffic was halted along the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on Sunday following a car fire that initially closed all lanes going from New Jersey to Pennsylvania.
According to
NBC 10, the car caught fire shortly after 2:00 p.m. One person was transported to a nearby hospital, but no word on that person's condition is available.
Around 3:00 p.m., all New-Jersey bound lanes were reopened. One lane headed toward Philadelphia began to move at about the same time.
By 4:30 p.m., all lanes going in both directions were reopened.
