The Camden County Police Department is giving out something sweet to celebrate Father's Day.
Officers will be handing out free ice cream from Mister Softee trucks throughout the city on Sunday evening for kids and their dads. The department says the promotion, which runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., is being held so that children can do something special for their fathers on the holiday.
Two trucks will be making their way throughout the city giving out the frozen treats. The first will make stops at 28th and Saunders streets, 6th and Bailey streets and 24th and Howell streets. The second will stop at Yorkship Square, 8th Street and Central Avenue and Louis and Everett streets.
