Craft lovers, rejoice: A.C. Moore is opening a location in the space formerly occupied by home entertainment retailer F.Y.E. on Broad and Chestnut streets.

The news was first reported by HughE Dillon of PhillyChitChat. F.Y.E. closed this past summer after occupying the space inside the Land Title Building at 100 S. Broad St. since 2006.

According to the Inquirer, A.C. Moore and the landlord of the building signed a lease Thursday for the 30,000-square-foot space, giving the art supply chain its first store in a traditional urban center in the country.

There are two A.C. Moore's in Philly already — one in the Northeast on Roosevelt Boulevard and another in South Philly along Columbus Boulevard — however, those are nestled in giant shopping complexes with parking lots.

A.C. Moore offers a "vast selection of arts, crafts and floral merchandise to a broad demographic of customers."

The New Jersey-based company currently operates 130 stores across the East Coast, according to the chain's website.
