BurgerFi is jumping on the keto craze

The ketogenic diet – often shortened to the keto diet – has become increasingly popular, with the demand for keto-friendly options at restaurants and eateries growing.

If you're unfamiliar with the keto diet, it's all about eating low-carb, high-fat foods. The idea is that it will force the body into a state of ketosis (that's when you burn fat, not carbohydrates, for energy). In practice, it means ditching fruit and eating more meat.

If you're looking for a keto-friendly option next time you dine out for lunch, you may want to head to the fast-casual chain BurgerFi.

On the menu at the eateries is the new "KetoFi." It includes two all-natural angus beef patties topped with bacon and a fried egg, drizzled with mustard and wrapped in lettuce (Bye-bye, bun).
