Regardless of how you feel about PDA, most would agree there's a sanctity in public parks that should be respected by couples who head out for a stroll.
In an effort to chasten summer swooning from escalating into sex in public parks, the Buckingham Township Police Department has turned to social media with the hashtag #GetaRoom.
#GetaRoom Reminder Twp. parks close at dusk. Nightly we're finding couples "hanging out" usually in the back... http://t.co/FRWlngjkBB

In a message posted on the department's Facebook page, police noted that failure to comply can be compromising in more ways than one.
Reminder Twp. parks close at dusk. Nightly we're finding couples "hanging out" usually in the back seats of cars. If you're found in the parks in a compromising position you'll definitely be embarrassed, and possibly receive a citation.
Others on Twitter have come out in support of #GetaRoom, airing their frustrations with frisky people, and other creatures, who can't seem to keep it private.
PDA is so unnecessary. #getaroom
