Wawa at Broad and Walnut will have seating

The location will be the first-ever to have indoor seating

The new Wawa coming to corner of Broad and Walnut streets in Center City will offer indoor seating.

The announcement was made at a press conference Thursday, according to reports on Twitter. Philly.com had speculated on possible indoor seating at that location last month, before it was confirmed.

The announcement comes on a big day for Wawa, the 51st anniversary of its opening, which is being celebrated with free coffee all day at all locations. The company said it expects to pour 1.5 million free cups of coffee for customers.
