Valerie Knight will be hosting the morning show on 101.6 The Breeze (WISX), the radio station announced. Knight previously was co-host of "The Breakfast Club," on WOGL for 14 years.
It appears Valerie Knight, co-host of 98.1 WOGL’s “The Breakfast Club” morning show, has been axed.
The 14-year "OGL" member posted a note on her Facebook page Monday morning reading:
‘Dear FB Friends,
It is with mixed emotions I tell you that after nearly 15 years, WOGL cut me loose from 'The Breakfast Club' last Friday.
I wish Frank & Bill and the new girl starting in January all the best in their ‘new direction,’ and now the possibilities for me are endless!
Thank you for being such great listeners and friends for all these years, it sure has been a hell of a ride.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and yours, and I’ll see you here, and who knows where else?

A click on Knight’s cbslocal.com on-air personality page came up blank Monday. Calls placed to both Knight and the station’s program director were not immediately returned.
