Body of Pa. college student discovered days after semester starts

Police are investigating the death of a Pennsylvania college freshman whose body was discovered on the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus just days after the start of the fall semester.

According to an Associated Press report on 6ABC, the victim has been identified as 19-year-old Devin Lecomte, of Ashville, Pa., in Cambria County.

Lecomte’s body was discovered at around 1 a.m. on Monday on the campus, which is located about 50 miles outside Pittsburgh, police said.

University officials said an investigation into the cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy and toxicology tests administered Tuesday.
