The body of a man who went missing in Berks County on Friday night was recovered Sunday and identified as 20-year-old Desmond Alexander Link.
According to WFMZ, Link went missing on Friday evening at the Birdsboro Climbing Quarry, prompting a massive search in the area of Hay Creek Road in Robeson Township. Divers throughout the area assisted in the response, but the search was called off at 10 p.m.
Hours after the search resumed Saturday morning, Link's body was discovered. Later on Sunday afternoon, The Berks County coroner identified him.
An autopsy was carried out on Sunday afternoon as part of an ongoing investigation into what occurred to put Link in danger.
