Body discovered in Schuylkill River in South Philadelphia

The discovery was made late Tuesday

The body of an unidentified male was discovered in the Schuylkill River near the site of a South Philadelphia refinery on Tuesday evening, 6ABC reports.

The discovery was reportedly made at around 8 p.m. along the 3100 block of West Passyunk Avenue by an employee at Energy Solutions completing a weekly grounds check.

There are no leads to the identity of the victim at this time. 6ABC reports the body was partially decomposed and that the victim was wearing a long sleeve blue shirt, tan pants, black sneakers and gloves.
