Former President (and "the first dude" hopeful) Bill Clinton will speak in Philadelphia on Thursday, April 8 – a day after his wife addresses members of the nation's largest federation of unions.
Hillary Clinton's campaign announced the news Tuesday. Bill Clinton will address voters at the Dorothy Emanuel Recreation Center at 8500 Pickering Avenue from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Doors to the event open at 11:15 a.m. Those wishing to attend can RSVP here.
Hillary Clinton is set to address the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO convention at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. Later that evening, her rival for the Democratic nomination, Bernie Sanders, will hold a rally at Temple University's Liacouras Center.
In a poll released Tuesday, Clinton leads Sanders in Pennsylvania by a whopping 22 points.
As of Tuesday evening – and including superdelegates who can back away from a candidate – Clinton held a delegate lead over Sanders nationally, 1,712 to 1,011.
That's not including the results of the Wisconsin primary being held Tuesday.
