Beauty in Bloom, an event by Petah Bashano Event Design and Events By Renee, is getting local women ready for spring with a day of makeup, fashion and hair styling. The afternoon of Sunday, April 26 Hotel Monaco will become the site of a special girls' day out.
Attendees will be pampered with free blow outs courtesy of La’lli Hair Lounge and makeup tutorials by Monica Varga Cosmetics. Hotel Monaco’s ballrooms will also play host to women enjoying signature Art in the Age cocktails made by Stratus Lounge, snacks by the Red Owl Tavern and a dozen or so exhibitors of fashion, beauty and style products to try and buy. Saks Fifth Avenue will put on a live fashion presentation and each attendee goes home with a swag bag of samples.
Of each $25 ticket sold, $5 goes toward Philadelphia's chapter of Dress for Success, a nonprofit that provides professional clothes to low-income women looking to enter the workforce. Beauty in Bloom attendees are encouraged to bring gently used professional accessories to donate to Dress for Success as well.
