Chilly as it continues to be, the season of brunch is almost here in Philadelphia.
Before you bolt back to your favorite comfort spots, remember: the privilege of living in a big city is that there are countless new places to try out and then not shut up about them to anyone who will listen.
Starting in April, you'll have a lot more to talk about. Harp & Crown, the Center City jewel opened last October by Double Knot and Independence Beer Garden owners Michael Schulson and Nina Tinari-Schulson, is preparing to launch a brand new buffet-style brunch menu and happy hour, eliminating weekday lunch in the process.

Late last year, Harp & Crown was named among Eater's most beautiful restaurants in America, highlighted by a dining room with atmosphere that's both homey and extravagant. The basement, known as Elbow Lane, even has a bowling alley.
When brunch debuts April 1, guests will have another temptation to stop by for the alternate weekend menu, which complements the dinner selection of charcuterie, pizzas, sandwiches and salads.
