Evil Genius Brew Garden to host barbecue.
Evil Genius opened a pop-up beer garden, called Evil Genius Brew Garden, the weekend of July 8 in the Fishtown space that will soon be the company's new brewery and taproom. The garden will open spontaneously through October, with specific dates announced through the Evil Genius Facebook page.
The second Brew Garden weekend will begin on July 22. There will be live music on Friday, a barbecue on Saturday during the day with a screening of "Elf" during the evening and games on Sunday.
The barbecue is a ticketed event, starting at 2 p.m. For $35 per person, attendees can learn how to brew beer with Home Brewed Events, enjoy barbecue samples and sip Evil Genius beers.
