Loosen your belts and bring the Tums: the Bacon and Beer Festival returns to Philadelphia for its third year Saturday, Nov. 14. Eat Philly is bringing together tons of local vendors for bacon-based bites made with products from 1732 Meats and brews galore.
Brands like The Bacon Jams, Bru Craft & Wurst, Bing Bing Dim Sum, City Tap House, Devil's Den, Dos Tacos, Fourth and Cross, Girard, Good Dog Bar, Sampan, Scratch Biscuits, Standard Tap, Taproom on 19th, Triangle Tavern and more will be creating those bacon-filled snacks for the crowd.
Allagash, Barren Hill Tavern, Broken Goblet, Brooklyn Brewery, Cape May Brewing, Crime & Punishment, Flying Fish, Manayunk Brewing, Ommegang, Penn Brewing, Prism, Sly Fox, St. Benjamin, Two Roads, Victory, Yards and more are bringing the beer.
The event is for those aged 21 and up only. Proceeds from the event go toward the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA), too.
Here's hoping it's better than the Cheesesteak Festival.
