The Bacon Brothers return to Philly for another benefit concert

They are scheduled to play at a dance party fundraiser for Thomas Jefferson University medical students

The Bacon Brothers are returning to Philly for another benefit concert. This time, Michael and Kevin Bacon will perform at a dance party fundraiser for Thomas Jefferson University medical students.

The show will be March 24, at The Ballroom at the Ben.

The event will include a cash bar and snacks for guests. Students receive two free beers per $20 ticket. Those who opt for VIP tickets will have access to an open bar and food stations on the mezzanine level of the venue.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. College band Chuck Buffalo opens for The Bacon Brothers, who are scheduled to play at 8:45 p.m.

Philly's Electric Factory launched Michael Bacon's musical career in the 1960s, and he later joined with younger brother and actor Kevin Bacon to form their current rock band.

Kevin Bacon isn't the only Hollywood connection at the event. Guests will be dancing through the same venue where Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper's "Silver Linings Playbook" characters performed.
