The Arden Theatre will close out its 29th season with "Gypsy." The musical by Arthur Laurents with music by Jule Styne will be performed in Philly for a month, beginning Thursday, May 18.
Tickets are currently on sale. Single-ticket prices are $36-$52, with discounts available for large groups, seniors, students, military and educators.
Five-time Barrymore Award-winner Mary Martello will play Mama Rose. The show follows Rose's efforts to raise two daughters to perform on stage.
"Gypsy" features a legendary score that includes “Let Me Entertain You,” “Together, Wherever We Go” and “Everything’s Coming Up Roses.”
