A banner featuring a graphic photo of an aborted fetus will fly over Philadelphia later this month.
Pro-life group Created Equal announced that the banner will fly over the Republican National Convention in Cleveland and told conservative website The Stream another 50-by-100-feet banner is planned to fly over Philadelphia during the Democratic National Convention.

The group has been irked by congressional Republicans' unwillingness to defund Planned Parenthood.
“The GOP voted for defunding Planned Parenthood before they voted against it,” Mark Harrington, the group's director, told the website. “When push came to shove, they voted to [fund] Planned Parenthood in the last budget deal. Also, the presumptive nominee has been unclear, often saying, ‘Planned Parenthood does good things.’”
The group will also take aim at the Democratic Party. Harrington cited the criminal case of Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted of murder in 2013 and is currently serving a life sentence for killing babies who survived abortions at his West Philadelphia clinic.
“They support late-term abortion and infanticide," Harrington said. "The recent Supreme Court decision virtually stripped all meaningful regulations from abortion and has now opened the door more Gosnell-like ‘House of Horrors’ to take place.”
Harrington also defends the group's tactics to use graphic images.
“We seek to expose the injustice of abortion to the light of human conscience and air of national opinion because our society has advanced the lie that the preborn are not human," Harrington said. "Words alone are inadequate to describe the brutal deaths preborn babies experience every day.”
The debate over abortion rights has intensified in the Pennsylvania Legislature in recent weeks. House Bill 1948, which would impose stricter limits on abortion, passed in the House and is headed to the Senate floor amid Governor Tom Wolf's pledge to veto it.
The RNC is scheduled for July 18-21 and the DNC will take place the following week, July 25-28.
