On Tuesday, September 22, the organizations will install Robert Indiana's AMOR sculpture atop the steps of the museum's east terrace, Uwishunu reports.
The sculpture, a variation on the Indiana's iconic LOVE landmark in John F. Kennedy Plaza, translates to love in both Spanish and the traditional Latin of the Catholic Church.
An official unveiling, open to the public for free, will take place Tuesday at 10:30 am, days before the start of the World Meeting of the Families Congress. The sculpture will overlook the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for the Festival of Families and Papal Mass on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27.
