Fans dressed as Potter characters collectively wave their wands.

Those who haven't received their Hogwarts letter yet can still attend wizard school. Normally, it's age 11 when young witches and wizards receive their acceptance in the post, but here in Philly, anyone 21-plus is invited to "The Franklin Institute School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

The museum will combine science and magic at the next Science After Hours event on Sept. 20. Attendees will have a chance to "encounter fanciful beasts, learn more about the science of potions and test wizarding knowledge," according to the event's official description.

All Science After Hours events feature experiments, live demonstrations and games revolving around the night's theme. Plus, there are multiple cash bars selling beer and wine through the exhibits.

If you plan on attending, feel free to dress up for the occasion. A black robe and pointy hat are often required for first-year students.

Tickets are $15 per person or $10 for Franklin Institute members.

Science After Hours events usually meet capacity quickly, so if you are waiting to buy tickets, check the Facebook event page to make sure it hasn't sold out.
