Start limbering up and practicing your hip movements now because a competition to determine who is the best at simulating sex on stage is coming back to a Philadelphia bar.
The Air Sex Championships will return to The City Brotherly Love for their ninth annual contest at Kung Fu Necktie in Fishtown. Contestants will be asked to perform solo to tell a story of carnal nature using nothing but pelvic thrusts and other body movements.
"It’s a comedy show that brings people together in a respectfully dirty, unpredictably ridiculous, and oddly touching celebration of sexual freedom and expression. It’s a serious competition to see who can fake-f*** nobody better than anybody else. Beyond that, it’s a show you’ll have to experience yourself to believe," reads the event page.
If you are having trouble picturing the event, allow comedian and host Chris Trew to demonstrate:
The competition is open to all ages, races, body types and gender identifications. The only limits are your imagination.
A panel of judges, comprised of comedians, porn stars and local celebrities, will provide feedback after each performance.
The best sex simulator will receive a trophy and be eligible to compete in the national championships.
The event will take place Sunday, May 7, beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $10.
