Last week after the NBA Draft, Bryan Colangelo hinted that Turkish shooting guard Furkan Korkmaz, the No. 26 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, would likely be coming over to the states to play for the Sixers this season.
And according to Misko Raznatovic, Korkmaz’s agent, that looks to be the case:

There were previously some concerns about Korkmaz’s buyout at Anadolu Efes (Dario Saric’s old team), but it appears that he’s willing to pay out of his own pocket:
Under the old rookie scale, Korkmaz is slotted to make a little over $1.2 million in his first year playing for the Sixers. As we wrote about yesterday, this makes things even more crowded on the wing for Gerald Henderson, who the Sixers have to make a decision on by the end of the day.
After being loaned to Turkish club Banvit last season, Korkmaz averaged 10.8 points, 2.2 assists, and 3.8 rebounds on 49-percent field goal shooting and 40-percent shooting:
