The wait for A-Treat's return is over.
The local soda brand popped up on store shelves this week after going out of production in January.
"It's just a great thing for the community. It's a product that we've loved forever," Adam Jaindl, Vice President of Jaindl Companies, told WFMZ.
Production started last week under the ownership of Jaindl Companies.
BeerCo on Lehigh Street in Allentown, which has carried A-Treat for 40 years, is one of the locations that has the soda back on shelves.
"The boss went and picked it up herself so we didn't have to wait for delivery," employee Josh Pisko told WFMZ. "The first people that we got in were actually a student, a young student and his mother, they came in and they were happy that we had it."
Full Distribution is expected by Labor Day weekend.
On Saturday, Jaindl Companies is hosting "Fizz & Franks," to preview select flavors of A-Treat soda. All proceeds will be donated to the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley.
