5 injured in Kensington shooting, including 1 child

A shooting in Kensington has left seven people injured Monday afternoon, 6 ABC reports

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. on the 700 block of East Hilton Street.

Three people were taken to Temple University Hospital for gunshot wounds, while another two, including an 11-year-old girl, suffered graze wounds.

Of those taken to Temple University hospital, one victim is in stable condition while two are in critical condition. 

The girl was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for children where she is in stable condition, while the woman who also was suffered a graze wound was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital and is also in stable condition. 

There is no word yet on possible suspects.

Police say the shots were fired from a shotgun. On Saturday, a shotgun was also used in a West Philly shooting that injured 10 people. Police had originally reported that seven people had been injured.
