To kick off this year's Fishtown RiverCity Festival, there will be a 5k fun run through the Fishtown neighborhood in partnership with the Fishtown Beer Runners.
The course, which begins and ends at Penn Treaty Park, will be partially closed to traffic.
Register for the Oct. 8 fun run and receive a tech t-shirt and bag of goodies, which includes 25 percent-off coupons to Honeygrow and Snap Kitchen swag. Those 21-plus will also receive two drink tickets to use post-race.
Online registration will close Oct. 7 at midnight -- unless the maximum 200 participant limit is already met. The race begins at noon.
