I-95 ramps re-open after 4-alarm fire in NE Philly

Ramps to and from I-95 re-opened Wednesday morning after a four-alarm fire broke out in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday, 6 ABC reports. 

The blaze started at 4:45 p.m. in a three story apartment complex on the 9100 block of Academy Road. 

Authorities had shut down the Academy Road ramps to and from I-95, which remained closed for some of Wednesday morning.

The American Red Cross set up a shelter for the approximately 100 displaced residents at nearby Abraham Lincoln High School on Ryan Avenue.

Five people have been hospitalized due to minor injuries from the fire.
