The 35th annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning will take place at Solberg Airport, located about an hour-and-a-half drive outside Philly, on Friday, July 28 through Sunday, July 30.
The family-friendly event is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America. Close to 100 special shape and hot air balloons take flight.
Twice a day, there are mass ascensions. Attendees can choose to watch, or be part of the action and take a ride.
On the ground, there are crafters and vendors, food & drink, yoga, aerial acrobat performances and live music.
This year, the Plain White T's are headlining. They will perform on the last night, July 30, at 3 p.m.
