Join Flyers legend Bernie Parent, 94WIP personality Glen Macnow, and NFL Hall of Famer Ray Didinger on Thursday, Jan. 27 at Puddlers Kitchen & Tap by Conshohocken Brewing Company to raise money for Ben Yellin, who was paralyzed in a biking accident.
For a $15 entry fee you will receive a free buffet and an autographed copy of “The Great Book of Philadelphia Sports List” from Glen Macnow and Big Daddy Graham. Raffles, T-Shirts and a live auction of prizes will be held, including tickets to watch a Flyers game with Bernie Parent. Additionally, Ray Didinger will be onsite selling and autographing books with proceeds going to the cause.
Ben's injury is deemed an incomplete spinal cord injury. At this point, his mobility is incredibly limited with only some slight function in his left arm. He's still at the beginning of a very long and tough journey to regain some independence.
Currently over $122,000 in donations have been raised with the goal of reaching $250,000. The funds raised have allowed the Yellin family to hire some in-home care, which will be needed daily for the foreseeable future. Additional donations will go to Ben’s long-term care and adapting his current home for future needs and covering on-going therapy and medical expenses.
