The Lancaster Avenue Jazz and Arts Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary on July 16, honoring women in jazz. Beginning at noon, the free one-day concert will be held at Saunders Park Greene in University City.
The lineup of female musicians and vocalists was chosen by the Producer’s Guild. This year, Sumi Tonooka will perform as the headliner.
Besides a full day of jazz music, there will be food trucks, family-friendly activities and various vendors at the festival. Free parking will also be available.
If there is rain, the event will be held on July 17.
