$20,000 reward offered for arrest in stabbing death of teen mom

Stabbing occurred at drugstore parking lot in North Philadelphia

A 17-year-old mother died on Sunday after police say she was stabbed in the parking lot of a North Philadelphia Walgreens in the early morning hours.

According to NBC 10, police were called to the drugstore located at Broad Street and Hunting Park Avenue around 3:30 a.m. to find the victim had sustained several stab wounds to her neck, back and arm.

The teen was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has not yet been released and an investigation remains ongoing.

Police have offered a $20,000 reward for an arrest in the case.
