Traffic could get congested near Rittenhouse Square Saturday due to an outdoor event.
Philadelphia Police say that 18th Street will be closed between Walnut and Locust Streets on Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The closure is for an outdoor dining event being held by the Friends of Rittenhouse Square. Several restaurants near the park are participating with food, drink and outdoor seating on 18th Street.
Police warn that traffic could be heavy near the park because of the closure, and are assigning officers to the area for the event.
